How to change grand cherokee head light (yr. 2000)?

Well, I really just want to know how to take that plastic shield off.. any suggestions?

Front head lights, go in from the back side!

Pop the hood. Look for the back side of the light. Follow the electrical lines to the head light. Typically the electrical lines are clipped to the bulb. Disconnect the electrical lines from the bulb. These bulbs are usually simply twisted in. Standard right had rule.

Remove light bulb and replace.

If you want to actually replace the head light casing, and not just the bulb, you'll have to unscrew the head casing from the frame.
