Is Mozilla Firefox faster than Internet Explorer 7? I have IE7 and i was wondering if Firefox is faster. I have broadband internet.

Yes Mozilla Firefox is faster. I think Firefox is faster because of the caching. It is lightweight, and has had many hands in the creation, FireFox tends to optimize over time.

FireFox and Internet explorer 7 dont change the fastness. Its only that firefox has more features.

Firefox 2.0 has been much faster for me, particularly if you download a program like Firetune to really speed things up. Also, due to the open source nature of Mozilla, it makes it easy to modify to speed it up even more. Try this page for starters -

I'm not sure. On my computer, IE is a lot slower than Firefox, but that might've been only after I installed Firefox. I have DSL.

Its the same to me, i don't think its a matter of browser but of your ISP.

Then again I have a 30MB connection.
