AFC
Best D- Ravens are the best. (ironically Raiders were 3rd of the best Defenses in the NFL)
Best O- Colts has the best offense in terms of Yardage, but the Chargers is the best in overall offense.
Worst D- Tennessee...only because the beginning they really sucked, then they did well near the end. and also the reason the Bengals did not make the playoffs was because they were the 2nd worst AFC Defense
Worst O- Raiders than the Browns
NFC
Best D- Bears
Best O- Saints (the seahawks are near the bottom of this lis, Arizona produced more yardage than the seahawks did, thats why the Seahawks lost to the niners 2 times)
Worst D- Redskins
Worst O- Tampa Bay

Best defense is the Baltimore Ravens defense. Bart Scott is an up and comer at linebacker. Even without Adalius Thomas Baltimore will still be effective. Worst defense is the Detroit Lions defense. Lions have no pass rush and dont make enough plays. They also pay the wrong players. (Kalimba Edwards.)
Best offense is the Colts offense. Even without James last season they still ran the ball effectively with Addai and Rhodes. Manning is Manning. Worst offense is Tampa Bays. Their line was terrible last season, ask Cadillac Williams. Quarterbacks for them are also lackluster, Simms, Gradkowski, or Rattay.

Best Offense- Saints It was amazing. Deuce and Reggie in the backfield and Drew Brees passing attack was best in the league.
Worst Offense- Raiders Just plain embarrasing. It can't get much worse than that. No O-line at all. No rushing game.
Best Defense- Ravens All around good team pretty much no holes it that D last year.
Worst Defense- Tennessee Just horrible Didnt stop the run all year. Gave up 25 points a game. If they can improve even slighty VY will have them in the playoffs

Best offense - Chargers...give them a solid #1 WR and watch them roll...Colts would have a good argument for them too...or Cincinati..but I stand by my answer.
Best defense - Well Baltimore lost a star LB to New England...Chicago has a shakey pass defense....and Carolina's has seen better days....I'd have to go for Baltimore though still, they can replace Thomas
Worst offense - Oakland or Tampa....I'd go Oakland...period
Worst defense - St Louis...maybe Houston...it's a close call. Indy made a case during the season, but the playoffs prove otherwise, but Houston is consistently mediocre/bad.

My defense "best" votes go to Baltimore and Denver. Worst D........That's tough. Bucs perhaps. Best offense, San Diego (VERY MULTI DIMENSIONAL) and Indy or New England. Worst Offense......Raiders and Texans I think.
