How about this.... We are bombarded by a multitude of sensory input, but are only consciously aware of a small portion of it because of where we direct our attention. However, our subconscious is still getting part, most, maybe even all of the input.

Intuition could just be the unconscious awareness of something making itself known.

But keep in mind:

No mind reading. It is the brain acting on data that can't be "calculated" in the computer sense. It involves a lot of instinct and empathy to arrive at a logical conclusion not supported by existing facts.

No, it isn't really like "mind reading" at all. It is a feeling you get when your brain calculates information and comes up with a logical answer warning you of something that will or may happen.

Do you beleive in ghosts or spirits? Maybe they are nudging us in one direction or another. We may "feel" unsure or uneasy about something or someone and call it a "gut feeling", but it may be your guardian angel saying "STAY AWAY FROM THAT PERSON" !!!!
