With Stan Tookie Williams, it was obviously wrong and all other instances. Murder is wrong. Stan Tookie Williams was a wonderful black man who just wanted to write children's books and they killed him just because of some unproved "gang activity". But Bush is more evil than any of us could've imagined before he "took" office. Is there some threshhold that can be reached where capital punishment is ok? Please, liberals only. I want this to remain an openminded and tolerant discussion.

I hope this is sarcastic. Even if one were to think capital punishment is wrong doesn't mean Tookie Williams was a wonderful person who just wanted to write childrens books. He admitted to being in a gang, and starting the crips. Give me a break

Yasser Arafat was nominated for a Nobel peace prize.

That was Bush's forte'. I believe he oversaw the execution of more inmates than any other governor in history. Even installed an express lane, so to speak.

Some people can change behind bars. I think that someone who has shown change and is doing something beneficial for society should certainly have their sentence commuted to life. Probably the family of his victims would disagree. And rightfully so. They are entitled to justice, but a man should only be executed if there is absolutely no question about his innocence. Our justice system is too rife for errors. Especially when those being convicted and executed are only the poor.

You cannot be serious! Tookie was a murderer. Screw his children's books. Read the history on this guy, he still was active in the gang FROM prison. Its a fact. I say this can't be serious because your almost a parody of yourself. Then asking for liberals only, that's just icing! Liberals are the most close minded intolerant people out there!!!

How many people did Sweet Tookie murder in cold blood? 2 or 4?
They were just white people, so it was okay, according to liberals.

Too bad Sweet Tookie didn't write his little children's books before he started killing people.

You are HILARIOUS!

"How could anyone nominated for a nobel prize hurt anyone?"
Ha ha ha!

Gee, I don't know, Yassir!

I think the threshhold is one unarmed store clerk, shot in the face with a shotgun. So Tookie leaped over - what? - 4 threshholds.

Idiot.

Capital Punishment is a state issue. If you choose a murderer over the President, you indeed have very questionable ethics and morals and are not one that should be taken seriously.

It's a tough question. I don't like capital punishment normally, but I do feel that repeat killers need to be put to death.
Bush loves the death penalty. along with Jeb Bush. but not Neil Bush because he's a criminal
