Report the messages to your network and the police! They will either investigate it or help you change number x

Report them to the network they came from. They may have used an alias. Try spam cop. Don't worry about who it is unless you think you need to report it to the police.

If the messages are text messages on your phone, go to your phone company (eg Orange/O2/Vodaphone). If they are e-mails, go to your e-mail provider (eg Yahoo). Sorry to hear you are getting nasty messages!
