I live in Chateaugay NY (Upstate NY) and the closest movie theater is in Plattsburgh NY....about 45-50 minutes from here. The movie is usually around $8-9. The food/candy is about 3 and up.

Here in Miami, FL, it depends on the place, near my house there's an Ocean Bank, where's a little theater, there it's about 6 or 7 dls. However, in a mall called Dolphin is almost 10 bucks or more, I'm not sure.

It depends on the area, but I seen a movie downtown (Seattle) a few weeks ago and it was $10.50.. I was PISSED. But I've paid as low as 7.50, but my true favorite is the Drive-in two new movies for 5 bucks person...Kids under 13 are FREE!!

depends...if I go to the "dollar" theater...a dollar..."matinees" I have paid between $4 and $6, and I think regular price is $8 or something close..I usually only go to theater for new kids' movies (have 7 and 6 year old) and we go to afternoon shows generally in central Virginia.
