Trust me - you do NOT wanted to remove your firewall.
The question you need to ask is:

How can I make my Firewall accept Guild Wars.

Simply really -

If it is online:
Go to control panel
Firewall
Exceptions tabs
Add exception - and type in the URL

The same applies to making a game work as well.

other methods are while runing the game press alt and tab together to minimise the window. and the firewall exception box will be below the game.

Well if you have the default windows Sp2 firewall you want to remove (which is not reccomended unless you have another) Go to Programs>System Tools>Security Center. From there click the firewall button at the bottom and there should be an option to disable it.
