That if i shake up a beer for a long time and then open it, it will explode. I saw Bart do it to Homer as an april fools joke on the simpsons.

Because beer is carbonated and is contained, the moment you shake it the liquid builds pressure inside the can, when you open it you are releasing the pressure and because the bubbles have no where else to go it'll cause the beer to overflow. I don't know about explode....it would explode if you put it in the freezer for too long though - had that happen, forgot to take it out and it was all over the inside of my freezer. As it freezes, all the air becomes more compressed (because it has no where to go except expand inside the container) inside the container and eventually bursts. It may vary depending on whether it's a can or a bottle (glass). Hope I explained that okay...

what you need to do is shake it up a lot and a long time
then get your mouth ready put your head back and put the opening right in front of your mouth
and open it up and suck it all down as fast as you can
with out spilling any

It's carbonated. Yes. It will foam up and spray like a small geyser. And EVERYTHING you see on the Simpson's is real.
