He was a good poacher, but he also was a naturally great centre forward who was a monster for defenses in the box.
IMO the best poacher is Filipo Inzaghi of AC Milan. He is not as much of a threat as he was but in his day he was the best poacher I ever saw.

YES he was. he scored 150 goals in 220 games for us ( man united) and only one of those goals came outside of the box and that was against charlton.
