This can be normal, especially if your taking birth control pills. Even if your not though I would count it for a period and go from there.

...I assume your 12 or 13 (since you said you have breasts, and usually, all women do. and discharge, which is what young people get before periods) and not sexually active.
Not every womans period is 28 days long. It is usually anywhere from 28-44 days long.
If your young, your periods aren't going to be normal. Skip a few months, and have a period, if your not sexually active, it's all normal.
I spotted a bit before I REALLY started.
The way to be 100% sure, is, well, a lot of blood.
You must realize, your uterus is being empited of its tissue lining, and therefore, it's a lotta blood!
Keep panty liners on you.
And tampons.
When you have your first period, mark that day. When you have your next period, mark that first day (on the calendar.) Go back to last months first day, and count until the day before your next period. Thats how long your cycle was.
Keep those days recorded on the side of the calendar or something, and don't freak out if its like 12 days late the next month, just keep them charted. You'll need it later.
Hope this helps!

It probably was your period. I take it that you are young and this is the first time? You'll notice as it goes on that the spotting will get heavier and you'll feel a little bit of pressure when you have your period. If you have any amount of blood discharging out of you then it can be a period.

It will take some time for your period to be a full on period. You may be a lucky one and have very light periods. But you should wait until the next time. I didn't know that I had my period until the third time it came around. I was only bleeding for two days.

The only way to tell without waiting is going to see a doctor. But without an invasive exam they will tell you what I have told you. Just wait it out. You'll be fine.

Not sure what you mean by discharge and it all depends on your age, if you are sexually active, if you take any birth control pills, if you have any diseases that affect menstruation etc. But regardsless of all these, you should visit an ob-gyn physician and get a check up. If you are a minor, you can still go see a doctor and the results of your check up are confidential even if you have a life threatening disease. You have to authorize the physician to give results to your parents. Health is serious and you should check with a doctor if you have any doubts. No one here can tell you a sure-shot answer even if it's a doctor. A physical check up needs to be performed.

What? Are you asking if that was your period?? Well of course it must have been... unless you are on Seasonale or somethin, than thats just spotting. But if you're bleeding down there and then again are bleeding down there about 28 days later, then it's your period...

Maybe I'm not sure what you're asking... Are you trying to get pregnant, because you said "without waiting?"..... Without waiting for what?

I don't think anyone is gonna be able to help you unless you add some additional details to your question.

Be be 100 positive you should look at the spots in ur undies and think about the colour is it red, or brown, those are normal period colours. Then see what happens the next day. Try putting toloiet paper in you underwear until you give confidence to tell someone.
I havent had mine but im prepared.

A typical cycle is every 28 days (everyone is a little different). Your flow may change from period to period...sometimes very light or heavy. It may last 3 days or a full week. If you are concerned that something is wrong, talk to your mother or school nurse or make an appointment to a gynecologist if you are concerned.

hmm.... well was it dark and nasty looking? if it was your first time getting your period it might not come 28 days later. The first time you get your period its not regular so you don't know when the next time its coming. Sometimes your body gives symptoms of when its coming. like you feel extremley tired or cranky or bloating or headaches. sometimes when you get period you might feel dizzy because of the lost of blood. don't panic if it doesnt come in a couple of weeks after the due date go to a docter.

This depends on your age and sexual activity. If you are very young and have just started menstruating this could just be your cycle establishing itself. If there is any chance you could be pregnant get a pregnancy test right away, you can spot while you are pregnant. I hope this helps.

Bloodwork could determine things about where you are in your cycle because different hormones are in different proportions at different times. If you are worried about pregnancy, go ahead and take a test.
