No. It just means he wants to make sure of size and how far along you are. By viability he wants to check and make sure its not an ectopic pregnancy which is where the egg is stuck in the fallopian tube. This is probably not the case though because you don't usually get a positive test with ectopic pregnancies. This is all standard testing. Nothing to worry about.

Relax. It just means that he wants to verify everything is going okay so far. I was scheduled for a ultra sound when I was 8 weeks but didnt end up getting in till 10 due to scheduling conflicts. It's normal for them to want to see you and verify things.

not necessarily, dating: verifying your due date. Viability: confirming that the baby is all right. This is normal procedure. If something is wrong now is the best time to have this information. Good luck to you and your baby.

nope, there just confirming dates and they can see the heartbeat and possibly hear it also they might be checking on the amniotic fluid around the baby just to make sure everything is in tact. I went and got a ultrasound at 9 weeks, 22 weeks, 32 weeks and I still get one before the baby is born at 38 weeks for positioning. Lets just say my baby is on the small size. Good luck on your pregnancy.

Don't worry. I had an ultrasound at my 1st appt with my OB at 7 weeks and we got to see the heartbeat and got the babies first picture! They just want to compare the baby's size with your LMP information. The doctor will do a bunch of measurements and things like that just to figure everything out. From my understanding this is standard practice with most OBs, so it's nothing to worry about!!! CONGRATULATIONS and enjoy getting to see your baby for the first time!!!!

it's a scary way to put it. The ultrasound is checking for the size of the baby to find out your due date, and to make sure the baby is ok, look for a beating heart, etc. It's standard, especially for an early ultrasound. It doesn't mean he suspects anything is wrong, don't worry hun.

i'm approximately 7 weeks now and going to get ultrasound in each and every week. yet I undergo in strategies o.k. while my mom have been given pregnant 8 years in the past she had her first ultrasund at 8 weeks besides and all of us for sure observed little or no something with its 4 limbs up. Very attractive and finny! yet, confident, it did look like slightly being with legs and arms. i think of it actually relies upon on how they do the ultrasound and how the photograph comes out. each and every each and every now and then that's sparkling, each and every each and every now and then no longer very. i'm advantageous the subsequent one will come out plenty extra effective reason toddler would be larger! solid luck!

No.. it means that he wants to verify the size to dates ratio.
Also, many pregnancies spontaneously "self-abort" causing miscarriage before the 12 week mark... its common, and scary, but probably nothing to worry about.
Its a routine procedure - no worries

They are just checking to see that all is ok with the baby, and to check that your due date is correct. I had a u/s at 9 weeks with my first pregnancy and found that it was a blighted ovum...the sperm and egg had met but did not develop...all they could see was a sac. So they are just checking to see that all is right with your pregnancy
