Zelda Twilight Princess: How do I get to the ladder on the Bridge of Eldin?

By the South entrance of the the Bridge of Eldin, there is a ladder on the right side of the castle- like entrance.... it is where all those monsters on hogs start to appear. I am almost done with the game and am trying to tie up loose ends... Is there anyway I can get to it?

Midna says, "There's something on the other side there....But unless there's a ledge to help us cross, we can't reach it... "

I want to reach it!!

I figured it out, just use the owl statue as a jumping off point... thanks though.

Actually, this really stumped me as well. It took my brother and I ages to figure out that it required the use of the owl statue all the way across the bridge. If you don't have the Dominion Rod from the Temple of Time, then you can't get there yet, but if you do, cross the bridge, and activate the statue. Bring it all the way across, and put it in the pit. If you position it correctly, you will be able to jump across. There will be an archer on the roof, but worry not; he is easily dispatched. Your fantasic reward is a Piece of Heart. Also, if you are low on health, be sure not to have the Zora Tunic equipped, just in case the archer manages to shoot you with a fire arrow.

well i beat the game, i found a few entrances so heres how i did it...after i got the double clawshots, i noticed a few clawshot targets, that was by the bridge.


the ladder is to high to get to right, if not skip this answer.i saw a clawshot target on the back of the pillar.
