I work at a farmer's market during the summer, and every once in a while we have customers that try to get a cheaper price. My practice is to remain steadfast, keep repeating the price, and if they still try to get a cheaper price, start increasing it.

Either they'll get the hint and just buy it, or they won't. I have no patience for something like that, especially since where I work isn't a flea market or something like that. I know some people go ahead and try to accomodate these types of customers, but why should I waste my time on them when I have other customers who will actually pay the price I put on the product?
