I'm assuming you have a doctor's appointment and are coming to this website to set your mind at ease until you get there. In the meantime....
It could be a lot of things. You could have had an early pregnancy loss in Jan, then got pregnant again.
You could be pregnant and have been since January. I've been reading a lot about this and it seems a lot of women bleed throughout their pregnancy. If it were implantation bleeding, it would have stopped by now, so those first few days in January could have been implantation, but what is continuing now wouldn't be. If it were an ectopic pregnancy, chances are you would have been in the emergency room by now.
If you have started a new strenuous workout and diet for the new year, you could be keeping yourself from having periods. A lot of stress can also cause this also.
Have you taken a pregnancy test? You can get a false negative on those, but not a false positive.
If you've been trying to get pregnant, then good luck to you. Keep us updated.

The brownish discharge could be implantation bleeding. It happens when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterus. Well, it doesn't always happen, but definately can. Take a pregnancy test! If you are preg and you are 2 months late on your period, it should definately register as a positive.
Good luck!

Brown discharge is usually old blood. I would consult a doctor regarding the irregular periods...it could be pregnancy, it could be hormones all out of wack, it could be anything. Good luck.
