I use Net 10 prepaid. The minimum card is $30, and the minutes are 10 cents per, so a $30 card is 300 minutes. It's the best deal out there. And when you buy the phone, you pay $40 and get 300 minutes to start off with, so the phone only costs you $10.

If it is a Verizon Wireless Pre-paid card, it will be 99 cents per day if you do or do not use the phone plus 10 cents per minute. After 7 at night you can use the phone with no minute usage at all but it will still use the 99 cents for that day. There is no set amount of minutes on the phone card. So if you use the card all in one day during peak hours it will have 290 minutes on the card. If you do not use the card at all you will have 0 minutes on the card and in 30 days you will have to buy another card. Hope that helps.

I you are with Verizon Wireless and you have a $30 Refill Card you will have 290 minutes to use.
