My right hand, arm, and wrist have been acting weird alot lately. It tends to get all warm and the veins pop up from skin.I feel pain when it does that, and my hand becomes restless afterwards, but it goes away in a few minutes, but still has a weird feeling to it. It happens from time to time, and I can't see a doctor cause I have no insurance at this moment, and I was wondering if anyone knew what it could be. If so is there anything that can be done to stop it? I'd apreciate if anyone can help. Thankyou. (:

I'm no doctor but it sounds like a pinched nerve. Insurance or not, there are facilities that will see you for free, based on your income. There are other far more serious possibilities for the cause of your problem that require immediate attention. See a doctor as soon as possible. Meantime, try heating pads. Not too hot. I wish you the best.

I have the same problem as you a month ago. My hand tend to get just stiffened and a little red. Then veins appear. But after a while it just disapear. I went to an accupuncture twice and it never happened again. Maybe it will work for you, try it!

Sounds like it's pulsating, that would lead me to think there might be a clot somewhere and the surge you feel (the vein popping up) is a loud enough warning sign to go get it looked at. It's definitely not Carpel Tunnel...My advice, call your doctor!

Tickle the inside of your wrist, if you feel tingling or little shocks in your hand or fingers, you could have carple tunnel syndrom.
I have had it for years, my sister had an op to get rid of it, she had it bad...
gives you a starting point to look up.

Try resting your hands for a few days by not using the computer, or other electronics. It could be repetitive motion damage.

Sounds like something with your nerves/muscles. I would try maybe icing it & then heat when it's acting up.
