The fire alarm went off at the movie theatre, and we all had to evacuate because of burnt popcorn! It's such a long movie I can't sit through it again but want to know how they ended the film.

We were at the scene where the guy who survived the first killing, walks into a room wearing a green army jacket and looking like hell, he sits down to look at photos of men, like a photo line-up....

Does he identify 'Lee?' what happens? Thanks!

Yes he identifies Lee. Then that's basically it. It has text that appears saying that Lee died of a heartattack shortly before being able to be questioned, and that no other solid leads were ever found. So it techinically went unsolved.

*SPOILER - ENDING REVEALED*

He does identify Lee, after comparing it to the round-faced guy in the next picture. Graysmith (Gyllenhaal) also finds a witness (a woman in prison played by Clea Duvall) who connects Lee to one of the victims. Graysmith confronts Toschi (Ruffalo) with this information, along with the timeline of the Zodiac killings - which match-up with Lee's activities, i.e. the letters stopped for a period of time that matched-up with Lee being in prison - even though Toschi was pretty much blacklisted after people in his department thought he wrote one of the letters, and that's how the movie basically ends. Then, as in many "based on a true story" films go, there are written details that tell you what happened after that. Apparently Arthur Leigh Allen died of a fatal heart attack a few months later, so he was never charged or convicted of the crime. Toschi was later exonerated from any wrongdoing. Robert Downey's character also died not long after all of this happened, I think from his downward lifestyle spiral. Graysmith's description made it sound like he divorced his wife (the one played by Chloe Sevigny) but maintained a good relationship with his kids.

I thought overall it was a decent movie, but not nearly as intense as "Se7en" or as depicted in the previews. You're probably better off not seeing it again just to catch the ending.

He does idenitfy Lee, and after in written words, it states that Lee dies like a week before the cops were going to set up a meeting with him and probably arrest him for the murders. But since he died, that lead died with him. I wouldn't want to sit through it again either, not anytime recently so wait for the DVD and skip scenes.

The real killer is Virgo why because they are quiet people so it's suprising if he/she is the killer. In what order will the sign die don't know to much work HOw they will killed? Stabbed Buried alive Burned Drowned in the toilet Ripped apart Killed with a drill Chopped with a axe Bounded and give you drugs Bounded and torturted To let suffocate Hanged to death Head chopped off.
