You need to go on your menu to ASSISTED SETUP. Keep going to the next places they point you to until you come to DISH SELECTION. Once into the dish selection you will have the choices of dish selection, set long and lat, set city and set zip code. The rest is self explanatory.

you cannot do this on the reciever. the zipcode entry on the unit for installers is for them to punch in and get the aiming directions for the dish. the channels you recieve are controlled by DirecTV, and is controlled directly by your billing address. you can't get that changed to get differnet channels short of actually moving. FCC rules strictly prohibit the reception of affilate feeds outside of thier area via satellite.
