ok i sent a package in another country since November and they still hasnt recieve it yet .I went back to the Ups store and they told me they couldnt track the package and they think it was stolen. I asked them if they would give me back the money back they said they could only give the shipping money back ,and they were not responsible for the package .The worst part is that they took the receipt back and just gave me the 40 dollars ,so now i dont have any proof i sent a package. What do you think i should do now? Can i still file a report without any receipt?

No i didnt have insurance ,if i have known i would have pay for it ,so why these people didnt tell me about purchasing one, Geez!!!

UPS provides $100.00 of insurance coverage with their base rates. You do have to prove the value of the item lost even to get that.

If you paid for more additional insurance coverage, you can file a claim for up to that amount. Again, you must substantiate the value of the shipment.

If you didn't purchase additional coverage and if you can't substantiate the value of the items shipped, their liability is limited to the shipping charges.

Yes go on line where you track UPS packages, you should be able to find your shipment by date. Did you have insurance on your package? If so the contents should be replaced for the amount of insurance.

Unfourtinatley I dont belive they are obligated to give you money for your package. Unless you purchased shipping insurencae wich is very cheap and helps greatly.
