Overrated is a bit harsh.
Look, they beat up a lot of crummy NFC teams. Still, they had a prolific offense, and play solid on special teams. The emotional high will fade, and they'll play a first place schedule.
That defense isn't going to fool anyone, I'll give you that.
A fall to 9-7 wouldn't be shocking. They are fun to watch, fan or not.

Yeah a Pro Bowl QB, two fantastic running backs, the most promising receiver in the NFL, a pretty solid defense. The Saints are here to stay as one of the top teams in the NFC.

Ha, I get the impression you're not a big fan of the Saints. Though I think in order to "choke", a team has to be pretty good. Bad teams don't choke, they just play to their ability.
I will agree that they are probably a certain deal over rated. It's understandable though, after Katrina and with a new coach they shocked the NFL by playing fantastic football. They are a very good team, and probably still the best in the NFC South, but I don't think they'll be a contender for the NFC title this year.. They did over achieve with that huge amount of emotion and support behind them.

In my opinion, the Saints are the best team in the NFC. They have a very high powered young offense with a respectable defense. They should have been in the SB, but sometimes things don't go your way. They'll definately make it to the SB one of these years. Expect them to be in the playoffs next year.

With the NFL device each and all the concerns interior the universal season is getting wins, entering into the playoffs, and getting domicile field benefit. they have twelve wins and nil losses so i do no longer think of it rather concerns what they are "rated". additionally a great sort of the persons on ESPN stated this previous week that Minnesota is the appropriate team interior the NFC. They for sure are no longer. for this reason i could could desire to assert that if absolutely everyone replaced into "overvalued" is replaced into the Vikings.

The saints is actually a pretty good team if you look at their offensive weapon in brees, bush, and mcaccister. They Will be very good team in 2007-08 season and will be a contender for the Superbowl if there defense is better.

I think they are overrated. People give Bush too much credit. Drew Brees is a great QB but I don't see them repeating their "miracle" as much of the rest of the NFC is getting stronger.
