I think this can be normal if it's a one time thing but if starts happening again, you should see the Doctor and my be a Neurosurgeon. I know some preganant woman who started forgetting normal words that we use in daily conversations and the Doctor beleived it's all due to pregnancy but later talking to a Neurosurgeon they found out that there is a tumor in her head blocking the language area... Just something to consider if it happens again... Congrtulations on your pregnancy :)

Get it checked out no matter what we say, but I do think that it has to do with the sugar in your body because when your pregnant it takes alot of energy and other things from you and can do such things like make you faint feeling maybe even black out, wow I kinda blacked out yesterday and have no idea why either, but I'm thinking because I got up too quick and am on antibiotics for strept throat. Go to your dr to find out!!

Acutally it could be a symptom. If youre feeling faint or dizzy then it has to do with your pregnancy. But you should talk to your doctor anyway. You might not be getting enough oxygen or something and it could be really dangerous especially whilke driving. Get plenty of rest!

I got lightheaded and dizzy in the first trimester of my pregnancy. I've been getting headaches since I have been in my second trimester (I'm 16 weeks). Talk to your doc about it - I'd be concerned if you literally black out and damage your vehicle and have a bad headache all at the same time.

Absolutely...I am an obgyn nurse of 13 years, and TONS of women "faint" or black out...it has to do with hormones, feeling sick, tiredness, you name it! Also, your doctor will probably check you for gestational diabetes...it's a common cause of blacking out. Make sure you're eating VERY healthy and keep your blood sugars in check. Also, give up any caffienes, and such...drink TONS of water...and you should feel better, although most women with your symptoms never overcome them while they are pregnant. So...get it checked out.

Well after two pregnancies I can tell you that fainting or passing out for me was normal. For me it had to do with my blood pressure. Most people faint when they lose oxygen to the brain, don't be alarmed it happens to alot of people. Relax and try to enjoy your pregnancy. Just to keep piece of mind, ask your doctor. Good Luck.

This could absolutley be related to a pregnancy. Be sure to tell your doctor. It is probably nothing serious. But it is very important to tell your doctor. I have 2 children. I passed out one time with each of them.
