keep in mind that depending on how coarse/thick the hairs are and how fast they grow, some people just can't stay baby smooth for more than a couple hours.
That being said, here are some tips that are pretty universal...
When you shave, how well you prepare the hairs to be cut directly relates to how much they're going to obey / irritate you.
The first thing you should be concerned with is warming up the skin and letting the pores open up. Considering the area, you're probably already in a warm shower so that takes care of that.
Secondly you should always use a moisturizing shave gell when shaving to soften up the hairs to make them easier to cut. The easier they are cut and the less jaged the edges on them after being cut the less stubble / irritation you'll have afterwards.
Shave with, not against the grain of the hairs. Shaving against the grain might make it feel baby smooth in the shower but ten minutes later it'll be back as stubble, possibly even itching / burning as the skin tightens leaving the warm shower.
A splash of cold water afterwards will tighten up the skin and wash away any residue / dead skin flakes that could get stuck in the pores causing blockages / irritations.
Beyond that, it's just a matter of realizing that it's not going to look or stay baby smooth for very long. Just as some men grow their "5'o-clock" shadows at noon, so too can... well you get the point.

If you still have some stubbles then you are not getting a close enough shave. Do you use and electric razor? If so that will not give you a close enough shave. Use a safety razor and try to lie down while you are shaving. If after the first swipe with a razor, there is still some stubble, then rinse the razor and try again.
Good luck to you.

i wouldnt have done it that early. I did it when i was 12 and have nothing but regret(im now 16). Use cream and let it grown back in. And just trim it. When ur older and want to get it waxed its gunna hurt even more becuase u shaved it which makes the hairthicker.

yeah, that's a b|tch. i really don't recommend doing the waxing yourself. best thing I can think of is try a personal shaver - you can get them at shavesthere.com, they work really well.
