I like them both. Haven't heard Whitney sing lately, but if her voice is the same as it was back in the 80's I'd have to choose her over Mariah.

Mariah Carey. It's really a shame what happened to Whitney Houston, but what do you expect when you marry Bobby Brown.

Whitney is a better singer/performer, but her career went down hill when she begin doing drugs. Mariah Carey is a good singer, but she is not as good as Whitney.

Mariah. She writes her own music, sings like no other and puts on a great show.
Whitney is also a great performer and can definitely sing, but she is only an instrument, she doesn't write.
I'd say Mariah.

I think Personally Whitney, but Drugs have killed her voice , Mariah is not my favorite person but she can sing. Both are good in their own ways..

OMG!!! I totally admire them both....
MARIAH: for her beautiful passionate love for music, and always coming back to the industry giving all that she's got to her fans!! for her effortless sounding voice...the clear lyrics that soothes my troubling soul..she relates to me in so many ways!!!
WHITNEY: For her High-Pitch Voice, and Durability in long notes..she rocks my world!! she may not dance as well as mariah back then, but mariah ain't no salsa dancer either...so Whitney makes a couple of "HITS"...but MARIAH??...she's had SO MANY......Love them both!!!

They are both good.. Whitney was extremy good before the drugs got to her.. Mariah is good also, but she will never be as good as Whitney once was...
