i think this is totally unfair but here's the situation:
after work, me and a mate walk home together coz we live close by. thing is, she's in a different department to me. i always say i'll wait for her when the day's over and i wait. whenever i leave a bit later - just a few mins later, she never waits for me, she just makes an excuse, saying she needs to pick up her little sister from school but her sister's school really close to her home and she says the same thing over and over again when i confront her. i really don't like the way she's treating me, she's taking me for granted.
should i just forget about her?
any answers much appreciated. thanks x

I think she is using you as and when - you let her.
Head home yourself, and don't wait for her anymore. If she asks why you haven't waited then you reply - you thought she was picking her sister up from school!

You'er right...she is taking you for granted. She's being impatient and a little frusterating. But, hey, she's your friend right?
I understand where you're coming from here, you're very right that it isn't fair, since you're so incredibly dedicated. I'm wondering, have you ever had a bad experience with friends, where people have treated you badly? Are you paranoid due to those experiences? I'm not calling you paranoid, differant things annoy differant people, but maybe you're sensitive to the idea that anyone, for any reason, is using you. This would also explain why you are such a dedicated friend-- You know what it feels like to not have respect. If this is the case, you must take into account your friends past, which may have not included that type of drama. This would explain your conflicting opinions. However, I'm sure once you lay your case before her, she will be defensive (naturally) but afterwards make more of an effort with you.

Maybe she genuinely picks up her sister. Maybe she just doesn't like waiting around.
But you have to decide why things are the way they are.
If you would rather wait for her although she doesn't wait for you, then do that.
If you think she is using you, then forget her.
Friends, especially good friends, are hard to come by.
But sort the answer out in your head once and for all, otherwise it will eat you up.

Tell her how you feel, if you dont she will never know and keep treating you like this. If she continues to leave work without you, dont wait on her. Dont fall out with her, just treated her exactly the same way she treats you

Dont wait for her.. make her realise her mistake.. sometimes people dont realise what they have untill they fear to lose it.
Ignore her and soon she will realise she is losing on u.
