Can anyone recommend a cheap (but tasteful) hotel in London?
If anyone has any links or web sites i could go to it would be very helpful.

Strand Palace Hotel on the Strand in Covent Garden. It's huge, always has reasonably priced rooms. It's not the Ritz but it's a pleasant 3 star and is clean and well run. I have stayed there twice.

Try Londontown.com they have some good deals. Discounted prices on nice hotels :)
