in order...mine are
1. The Wire
2. The Sopranos
3. Oz
4. Six feet Under

i love the way HBO depicts their characters...like in The Wire and Sopranos you always find yourself rooting for the bad guy...they make them so damned likeable (i mean...how can you not repsect the hell out of Avon Barksdale....and Omar is the best character ever created for TV)

I am absolutely in love with HBO.
Here are mine:
1. Oz
2. Carnivàle
3. Six Feet Under
4. Band of Brothers
I find that HBO is the most "straight-forward" television cable network there is out there: no censures on either human emotions, physical activites, or verbal expression.
It has really good shows, that all have some kind "realism" stuck to them. Even though they aren't "realistic" in the strict sense of the term (for example, Carnivàle), i think they still depict reality as it is. I mean, we can see this through the characters and the plot lines...
Do you know what I mean?

i'm actually in love with HBO. listed here are mine: a million. oz2. Carnivàle 3. Six ft below 4. Band of Brothers i detect that HBO is the main "right away-forward" television cable community there is accessible: no censures on the two human thoughts, actual activites, or verbal expression. It has somewhat sturdy shows, that one and all have some form "realism" caught to them. even although they at the instant are not "sensible" interior the stern experience of the term (as an occasion, Carnivàle), i think of they nonetheless depict certainty because it somewhat is. I propose, we are in a position to verify this in the process the characters and the plot lines... do you be attentive to what I propose?

Ohhh, HAS to be Six Feet Under. Although ot was quite dark and dramatic, the whole show just BLED humanity. Like halllucinations through the characters of what they 'wanted to say' - I always feel people can be like that, as well as the suggested movement and mannerisms of each character.

The hallucinations were my favourite part really, and the last episode makes me cry everytime. I'm ashamed to say my ex-boyfriend is now responsible for one of my favourite ever shows! :)
