I am looking to build an indoor swimming pool as part of the extension on my house, has anyone any ideas (roughly) the cost of the installation and building work for a relatively good sized pool, say 24' x 10'

Anyone who has had a pool installed, your comments would be greatly received. Or any good links with price lists and good info would be great!!

Ask a pool contractor... they'll want to take a look at what you want and where you want it. Not something you can do over the phone.

I'm not really sure of the cost of installing a pool indoors, but one of the problems you must address is humidity, and a dehumidification system for a pool room doesn't come cheap. Without it you can rest assured that wood rot and mold will follow.

fiberglass, concrete, steel, below ground/ above ground...heated??? if you dig a hole & fill it with water...cost very little.....or you could spend upwards of $200,000
