it depends on where you teach and what level you teach but:
The median expected salary for a typical Teacher High School in Phoenix, AZ, is $50,230. The median expected salary for a typical Teacher Elementary School in Phoenix, AZ, is $48,173. The median expected salary for a typical University Professor of Biology in Phoenix, AZ, is $81,832.
