There are many skeletons in my family closet somewhere, that I don't know about. There are many I do, do I need to go public with it?, no, I have learned to forgive , as what is in the past is not affecting the NOW......Rev Sharpton, Is suposed to be a man of God, why can he not preach to the media, the things we can do to make this world a better place. I don't like the bad things that have happened to anyone.I try to help those that I can. Every where you turn he is the news that keeps the blacks and whites stirred up, Is this what God wants of him?He is encouraging all African Americans to research their past no matter how horrible,(his words) For one thing these African Americans would have to go back to Africa as that is where they were born. The people here are Americans born of African Ancestory. He appears more of an instigator to me...... What good is he doing for religion???For mankind???
(Just wanting to understand this person)

how does he help the black population? It is up to each one of us no matter our race, to get above the wrong that was done to any of our ancestors. going public for every little breath does more harm than good...
People of my ancestory have been abused in the past and I pray for those that have done us wrong.

He loves attention and at times is self-serving in his choice of 'causes'.

There is too much hatred of non-blacks in him.He is obviously not a man of God. The bible talks about such people that use their position to con people into giving him money.Real christian's to not do this. Neither do they try to dodge $ 4.5 million dollars in taxes.

he is a preacher but he is also a politician and i don't care what these white fellas say in here,a black man who is racist can't do much to exercise his racism he does not have neither the tools nor the power to oppress other races but the white people do and they do use it people should stop hating reverse racism more than white racism because reverse racism is a direct side effect of white racism to begin with

We should be grateful that he can exercise his right to free speech, and get nationwide media attention. Unfortunaetly he says many things that are better than what the media decides to portray him with.

Don't accept everything you hear in the media, do your research and find out what he really stands for.

Al Sharpton is a disgusting, attention hungry, poor excuse of a human being. Anyone who follows him or listens to him has to have something wrong with them. REMEMBER TAWANA BRAWLEY. Mr. Sharpton should be in jail for the Tawana Brawley incident. There is nothing honest or credible about him. He is a piece of ****.

I think some words from Matthew will help,

Matthew 7:21-23
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
