Okay, get this. Tree guys are in a restaurant talkin' about how their days went. One guys says to the otha guy hey fu ck you! the otha one jus looks at him and laughs. You see, the reason why theys laughin' is cuz ol Tommy got his *** beat by a goddamn prostitute. Now, dont present the idea until the very last minute. Actually, this is my idea, I have some incredibly hilarious dialogue, but youre on your own for that one pal!

Do a 2007 version of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". Or use that theme as your arc. Take your subject and their friends and follow them on the "day in the life of....." (whoever in your school has a reputation for cutting classes, doing things and getting away with it, etc.) and follow them around with a video camera. Don't do anything stupid or dangerous, just show what happens after they call in sick. Do they wait until their parents go to work, then take the car to drive their friends to Burger King for lunch instead of going to the cafeteria? Do they drive 4 towns over to go to the multiplex to go "movie binging" and pay to see one movie, then sneak in to see 2 more. Or, more shocking: do they do something responsible like go to the museum to see the really rare "Monet Exhibit" that's in town only on that day, and if they had not cut school - they would have missed. I'm not encouraging cutting school, but if someone is going to do it anyway - and you can make a good film out of it - and you plan on going to New York University Film School to be a director- this might be worth your time. You should realy try to think of it yourself but heres some tips
Think about real funny events and happenings that you or people you know have experienced try to incorporate these by extending/elaborating on them. Do the same for character, think of real people or even just certain things about these people and also use this in the story. Once you have created the basic world in which your story and events take place it should be both easy and enjoyable to develop your final idea, good look.

Your neighbor's dog barks all night and keeps you awake. You are always late for school. You and your friends hatch a plan to kidnap the dog and 'hide' it in the country. Then you send a ransom note. They ignore the ransom note and you are stuck with the dog. You start trying to find out why they don't care about the dog, so you go to their house pretending to get a job cutting their yard. Their daughter (your age) answers the door and after talking with her, you find out she is really nice and also really upset that her dog ran away....this should be enough to get you started....
