It looks like torn leaves, and a lot of other things that look like they are there naturally, but it is really fairy writing. So the next time you see torn leaves in the dirt, take a picture, but DO NOT disrupt it. The reason fairys are so scarce is because the notes they write to each other are often corrupted, sending the fairy away to Neverland, where they stay almost forever. Fairies live in groups in peaceful forests. There are many kinds of fairies too. I have personally seen burrowing faries, a large group lives under my BFF's trampoline. Just say NO to those people who say they aren't real, because they are, and we, the believers, will prove it someday!!!!!

It doesn't translate into something a human can understand, much the same way you can't really write down the language of cats. Cats, like most animals, use inflections of sound patterns (length, pitch, range, etc) to 'speak' to other cats, so to actually diagram it would look more similar to musical notes than anything.
Also, because fairies are otherworldly creatures, their sounds are of pitches and ranges far beyond the normal range of a human ear, for the most part. Even if you could hear them, or if they allowed you to listen, it would be like listening to a single violin being played in an orchestra. Unless you were sitting very very close to that violin, the other sounds would mostly overlap and render it beautiful but incomplete.

Don't force this user into reality, it is damn hard to slide back out.
Fairies don't have a written language of their own, they speak with music and the wind. The rustle of leaves and the falling of water over rocks. The sound of shooting stars and the passing of clouds. They pass their stories on to the next generation with music and in dreams.
Since they are wise enough not to have a government, they do not need a written language.

I believe in fairies and I think their language is nature and they make codes that humans cannot understand. For example if a water fairy wanted to say she is angry, she will make a storm. If an animal fairy is angry she will make some animal kill someone or anything, if a garden fairy is angry she will make a carnivorous plant to eat someone or somebody, if a tinker fairy is angry she will play pranks on humans, if a fast fairy is angry she will make a whirlwind. Hope my answer helped!!! :)
