What is this movie ????????

it came out in the late 70s early 80 about cats that kill people. it has to do with a theatre. the one scene i remember is a guy comes up to someone from behind talking to them without getting a response. he says whats your problem cat got you tounge and turns the person around and it turns out that the cat litterly got his/her tounge
