The song is from his debut CD. I doubt he wrote it for Idol. Hopefully he will peform it or something on the show this year. They've had others back.

daughtry's elimination song was Wanted Dead Or Alive
Home is from his CD and I hope he preforms it at the finale. Home is also the song that plays like "bad day" last year when contestants get voted off.
