Did you know that if you list the US Presidents in order of descending wealth that John Kerry would have been # 3 on the list, that the first Republican appears at # 7 and neither President Bush appears in the top ten.
At least that is what CNN said on their web site during the 2004 election.
Look into the US legislators net worth.
A previous answerer commented on rich vs. middle class. Well, just who are the "rich", they certainly aren't Republican politicians.
I am a conservative, not a Republican, and I would love to have the cars that some Democrat's I know own.
Another thought, do lawyers have money? What ever you believe, check the trial lawyers associations' contributions to the different political parties. I bet that will surprise you as well.
Just some facts, the Democrats won't like it but that doesn't change the truth.

i live in massachusetts and i haven't seen a car more than four years old on the road for as long as i can remember.
when i was in north carolina a few months ago, i was reminded what it was like in poorer areas of the nation - where people drive around in broken down old junkers and just do whatever they can to keep them running.
what i didn't understand when i was down there was why so many red staters just leave their dead cars in their yards.
any of you enlightened (indoor plumbing for republicans) able to give us all some insight on that...

We don't drive a prius that is for sure. Anything that is big and gas guzzling we prefer just because the libs hate it.
