i really like rap a lot and am just beginning to listen to some rock...any suggestions? tell me some of your favorite songs...

hm...I'm not that into rap, but I'd have to say I like Kanye West. He doesn't strike me as the miz new booty type of rapper (not dissing miz new booty). The Black eyed peas I guess. Lady sov for something new, unless you hate her, which some people do. erm...I'm not really into rap, so there's my suggestions.
well I am good at rock...well since you don't listen to it that much, I would suggest some basics, such as ac/dc, etc., though I do not listen to them much myself-I know, I am a bad rocker. :(. Though I like The Kill by 30 seconds to mars, suzie by boy kill boy...I personally am more an alternative sort of person (music-wise, I mean.) I also like grace kelly by mika, and my chemical romance.

er you could try out the classics, like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who. etc. i love the old Greenday stuff, but American Idiots alright as well. try out Metallica, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
it really depends on if you like Screamy Rock, and more like soft rock
