2. Britain, Spain, France.
3. Rio Grande.
4. Spain. It was the mouth of the Mississippi River, thus an important port for western US farmers' crops.
5. the Ohio River.
6. Virginia.
7. Tennessee and Kentucky. I don't recall why.

4. France- it was the mouth of the Mississippi and dumped into the Gulf of Mexico where we could ship things to Europe
5. Ohio River
6. Not sure on this one... I think it was Virginia
7. Tennessee and Kentucky... because there were people there who wanted to be a part of the US.

4. France - It is at the mouth of the Mississippi River
