I have been stereotyped by women that because part of me is large, I can't possibly be a nice guy.

I am a male with long hair. It seems that people in general seem to think this is a reflection of intelligence (or lack thereof), personal choices in lifestyles or habits, and ability to become a successful, responsible person in life.
I have always made it a personal point to avoid being ignorant. I think education is very important, no matter what you do in life. I usually excelled academically, and strived to learn more.
By "personal choices in lifestyles or habits," I mean the use or abuse of drugs. I have met many people that assumed I do drugs because of the long hair.
I started growing my hair out in mid teens, and many people (usually my parents) told me it would hinder my abilities to become successful in life, such as in the workforce. Much to their surprise, I have a job as a drafter for a statewide company in Oklahoma, making more money part-time than they make working full-time, and I am only 18 years old. I plan on having long hair for the rest of my life, unless I join the military or go bald before I hope to, so I like to view this as a lifelong social experiment, just to show how unaccepting, stereotypical, and close-minded the general public is.

a) I have been called a racist, since I am Caucasian (though I have been a past-member of the San Francisco Urban League and the NAACP)
b) I have been called a bum, a drug addict, and an alcoholic, because I am a Disabled Veteran (I am a member of B.M.I.; the worse drug I've ever taken, legal or illegal, was prescribed by the V.A., and that was Prednisone; and I rarely drink: all of last year I had a total of 14 drinks).
c) I have been called (or is it "judged") a "Pagan" or "Heathen' by certain so-called "Christian" denominations, because of my long hair and the occasional beard (funny, I have the same Doctorate as the Catholic Bishop of Reno).

I have often had a problem with the "Dumb Oversexed Blonde" stereotype. I happen to be a very intelligent and very respectable blonde so I am offended whenever somebody automatically thinks that I am either dumb or promiscuous.

I have been labeled as a goth because I painted my nails black once and everyone thought I was depressed. I have also been labeled as a nerd because of the people that I talk to.
