We live in the northeast, so housing is the most expensive here, and it's uneconomical to have a large house because of heating costs, so we have approx. a 1,500sq ft. house. Large kitchen/dining room and equally large living room, which compose about 95% of the first floor, the other 5% is a half-bath. Upstairs = two extremely small bedrooms, one large master bedroom, full bathroom. Sectioned basement, one half finished, the other not. We have a deck overlooking the valley (we live on the very top of a small-ish mountain), a screened-in porch, and a very large above-ground pool with a sizeable walk-around deck.

Your house sounds to big. Do you ever see each other? I live in a 2 bedroom house. It's very small but cosy. We are currently looking for another house that is a little bit bigger.

well I have 1 house in LONDON and 2 big Apartments in Spain , I did have a house in Scotland but sold it last year, I have lot´s of Land which is in the mountains and lot´s of Pine tree´s

mine it's tiny like a match box,it is called apartment
but I have been very very pretencious about what really great house means
first, a good house must have a domain, not just a garden or a yard, a domain with forest and a lake
then you must have inside it diamond jewleries, masterpiece paintings and housekeeper
party lovers relatives and friends that must seat around your table in the livingroom every evening

3 storeys high, 8 rooms. No swimming pool, just a bird bath out the back. If you're not showing off...just wondered why you had to list the number of closets?....EDIT...PREVIOUS QUESTIONS..Just looked at yours, some about homework. So, this house belongs to your parents then, not you?
