I am only 15 years old, (16 in May) and i adore playing the piano..but i can't read notes... I, however, play astonishingly well (people are amazed...[not to brag or anything])
i live in the Garden Grove California area and something (at the most 20 miles) nearby would be nice...

In fact it's the opposite of what you might think. You need to learn to read fake books at least (that have popular songs with chord names under the lyrics). Then, you can play in restaurants. Those dudes make a LOT of money.

You gotta be able to read music in order to get a halfway decent job, unfortunately.

try to learn how to read and write and practice more...you will get paid for your talent then
