don't they know that it can cause cancer? and people who get a fake tan look life tangerines. my friend sam got one a while ago(we were young back then and didnt know better) and when we were walking out of the salon, it started raining so she had an orange body with white dots. my point is, why do ppl get them if they have so many down sides?

It's just vanity run amok. I mean when you meet someone are they real anymore? Do they have fake eye color, fake eye lashes, hair color, hair extensions, weave, grills or fake teeth, fake nails, fake tans, fake boobs, liposuctioned areas, fake cheeks, fake chin, lifted face, botox injections, all kinds of fakements. How do you know anymore who is real? Between cloning and fake stuff you can do to yourself it leaves me wondering what the heck is the point anymore?

It is gross...they get so dark and then look like a tangerine. Its dumb. If it was me i would NEVER go to a tanning salon...its just not natural.
So...during the summer i just tan...just naturally...i don't get sun burnt either. Just naturally tan, plus my skin is a natural tan color all year round.
But you are right about that. I would be really embarassed if i had looked like a tangerine and had white spots all over me. You would look like a cheetah...only orange with white spots!

They do it because they think it looks good. Real tans do cause cancer , later on in life they will have to remove the tumors with a laser and it hurts and leaves scars. Fake tans are messy and get on your clothes and every where else.

cuz they think that their pale skin makes them look like their frozen so they want a tan... and maybe some people don't know the downsides... i sure did... and when they do get a fake tan they are looking like a big bowl of fruit! Oh another thing is ... they don't except their body... wihch really sucks because God made you in his vision so they are ruining it

Marketing, and for the most part people have favorable results and make it a lifestyle it's like applying makeup .. it's a beauty enhancement

People who get "fake tans" would rather have tanned skin than be healthy. They are not happy with the color God gave to them.

i use a tanning bed a couple times a week, i like the healty look i have, plus it makes me feel good and it helps my seratonine in my head - the fake spray tan can look rediculous, i tried it and wasnt happy
