Deep down I love getting compliments but sometimes I don't know how to accept them gracefully, like I will laugh it off or something instead of just saying "Thank you"

I don't know how to respond if someone compliments my appearance. I feel exposed. Now if someone tells me I'm the baddest *****... I can dig that.

I don't like getting them, because I'm always waiting for them to insert a but, or something. I'm so use to getting back-handed complements from my grandmother, so I think people have ulterior motives for complementing me.

Not so much. They kinda make me uncomfortable and even tend to stress me out. But I'm getting better at accepting them...

Yes. Sometimes it can be a little embarrassing if people go overboard in front of a lot of people.
