I know a ton of those.

Ray Stevens (has many) - Shriner's Convention
C.W. McCall (has a ton of them also) - Classified
Larry Groce - Junk Food Junkie
Kip Addotta - Wet Dream
J. Geils Band - No Anchovies Please

Call up Ray Stevens and C.W. Mc Call individually for a ton more.

There's a whole littany of incredible story songs that originate from the original folk ballads in any variety of cultures. There are tons of great American comedic songs and I think the best place a great place to start is Arlo Guthrie. His "Alice's Restaurant Massacree" is an absolute CLASSIC and clocks in at about SEVENTEEN minutes! Here's a recent live version that's a little hard to hear, but it's available elsewhere: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_7C0QGkiVo

While the song does have a political message behind it, it's still absolutely hilarious. Guthrie has written a lot of songs in this style and another good track is 'Motorcycle'. Good luck!

He did another song about stealing the all the pieces of a Cadillac from the plant ..."I got it one piece at a time and it didn't cost me a dime"....I can't remember the title but, he steals the pieces and builds the car over time. Also, Cocaine Blues is a good one by Johnny Cash.
Hot Rod Linclon too.
