Can I skip changing it just this once? I changed it out 2 months ago, about 2k miles, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it off, so can it wait another 3k miles so i can just take it somewhere and have them do it?

I thought I just answered this, but, again, lefty loosey-righty tighty. Use an oil filter wrench or take it to JiffyLube to change the filter as it is slightly more important to change the filter over changing the oil.

It'll be fine. You'll have half a quart of dirty oil in the system, but most manufacturers recommend change intervals of a five to seven thousand miles now anyway. The 3,000 miles everybody uses is from grandpa's days when oil didn't last half as long as it does now.

I wouldn't do it. Changing the oil without the filter is pointless, the new oil is contaminated almost immediately. I would take it somewhere and let them do it. It's worth the life of your engine.
