I just read an article from the Boston globe saying that the Patriots are interested in competeing with greenbay for Randy Mosses services. The popular idea has been that Moss wasnt the Patriot kind of guy but the article reported that Belicheck acctually said that he loves Moss and believes that he has the right guys in the locker room to influence Moss to "play nice". I relize that Moss may never play nice but this artcle really gives me a reason to believe this might happen. I mean if belicheck wants that guy then that gets rid of the primary blockade, as belichek usually hand picks who he wants. What do you think the chances of this actually going down are? I hope the Patriots dont expect Wes Welker to step in and become a better reciever then caldwell, that seems like risky shot.

i dont think it will happen, but unlike T.O., moss wasnt a team killer when the vikings were winning, and all the raiders have done since he's got there is lose, without even being close to competitive

if he went to a winner like N.E. he might be rejuvinated

the pats have done a good job with supposedly poor charater guys like corey dillion & rodney harrison

I really don't think Green Bay will even take Moss. None of the fans like him at all after what he did awhile back in a game there. As for the Patriots, I don't really see them picking up Randy Moss. They like younger receivers, and let's face it, Randy Moss isn't in his prime anymore. He's really gone down hill over the past few years.

Man, Brady to Moss? That would be a Patriots fans dream, and an AFC nightmare. I think Belichick is right, the Pats do have good personnel, and they all have a "team first" disposition. I think going to a well-disciplined team like the Patriots is what Moss needs after his debacle in Oakland. It also doesnt hurt that the Patriots are a tier one team, either. Good luck to both!

If they do take him, like I said in another post, Bellichick is GOD when it comes to players with questionable attitudes...Case and point, Corey Dillon...no problems whatsever in the locker room...because he is NOW a Super Bowl Champion...

As indicated though, Moss's best years of productivity are probably behind him, but he is still a good #2 or 3 receiver...If they take him, it is not like he'd get a 7-8 year deal...It would be more like a 2 or 3 year deal at the most...and then seeing where he is in his career, whether still productive or going downhill...

I think the Pats are gonna sign Donte Stallworth. If they do, they don't need Moss anymore. Stallworth is a great reciever. But if they do get Moss, Brady and Co. will probably turn him into a team player. It worked with Corey Dillon didn't it? Wes Welker isn't too bad, so don't judge him before he you see him play.

I disagree with the statement that his best years are behind him, I think that they might just be ahead of him---If he can get on a team that has a Qback that can get him the ball. Oakland does not have one, they are pityfull. And after you think about it, what has Culpepper done since the vikings got rid of moss?
