Pre marital sexual relationships are like that. Being able to have sex with a girl, without the commitment of marriage leaves the door open - after all, there's no ring, so there's no "real" commitment.

It's trite, and a mixing of two sayings, but some men will be dogs as long as there's free milk available. Our society has made monogamy almost a dirty word any more. As we turn further and further from traditional values - (anybody still know someone with only one sex partner for life?) The "freedoms" we embrace tear away the securities we now yearn for.
