I own a core but I having a strange liking of the chrome plate and its sounds so stupid but I want it.

If you like the chrome plate, I think you can probably find someone who can spray paint it for you so that it looks like you have the premium.
If you buy it used, you might be able to find a premium that doesn't include cables or anything else. But for a new premium, you'll have to get it with the cables and stuff.

ya u dont buy the premium if u just want the console u buy the core system

I do recall some store had Chrome replacement inserts you could buy (ie: dvd tray/button) but I'm not sure where.
BUT if you dig the chrome, try this site
