if you go to www.mobango.com and select the game you want (btw the games are free) it will go into your wap locker and just go to wap.mobango.com and it should download from there. good luck

Hi Dazza,
I have recently worked out how to do what you are asking on my mobile. And as we are aware most mobiles function in the same way and use similar file types.
I have a Sony K750i with a 2gig memory card and i have 2200 java games on the mobile.
Does your mobile have a memory card, and does it link to your pc via a usb cable.
If so i can't see any reason why you can't put games on your phone like me absolutely free.

I download my games from filesharing sites,i use ares & bearshare which are both free .
I have downloaded approx 2000 games this way, often file that are'nt exact to your mobile will still work on it.
These files are normally rar file and once downloaded will need to be opened, but only open them once.
I say this as once you open the downloaded file the files within are also similar but do not open these .
You send these to the phone via usb,and the mobile opens them to a game.
I send mine to my 'other' file and then when you look at the options it says install ,press this and it installs the game into the 'games' folder.
You can delete the original file from 'other'if you wish you game will still work from the game folder.
If i keep the original file i can even bluetooth the games, you cannot do this from the games folder.

If you cannot for any reason do it the way i have ,you do have options that are still free.
As pgraham has said you can download free games to a wap locker that you have access to and you can then send to your phone via the locker.
You i expect have to pay for wap time but this is very little considering the price of java games.

Best of luck.
