I dont want any stupid answers like, "babysit" or, "mow the lawn." I've done that and I want a consistent job preferably at a restaraunt or store. Where is a place I can be hired? I will be fifteen in October, I'm super responsible, and this would be my first real big time job.

well im inspired by one of my favorite summer places, so im gonna suggest a snowball stand! its fun, plus you get to make (and eat!) snowballs, which are delicious. a lot of places might not hire you when you're 15, but i know a snowball stand wont have any problem. i think itd be a fun job and you can show up in tshirt and shorts, so really casual and cool! =)

You will need to check the law in your state or county where you live, what it says about how old you have to be, because here in Virginia you have to be 16 before you can obtain gainful employment. Again, you'll need to check this yourself, it varies from state to state and I have no way of knowing, I think in Texas it could be 14 but again I don't know, you just have to ask around or call the courthouse clerk.

Beyond that, so long you meet those requirements, I would first talk with friends of yours who have a job, see what they say.

And you can almost always get hired at most any fast food place or general grocery store, so long you are legally allowed to work.
