My finger was hit today by a ball during gym, it's the pinky.

It's probably the most serious hand injury i've had.

It doesn't hurt now if I don't touch it for move it now, but it did for serval hours, but if I touch it just a little, it hurts really bad. I could only bend it a little bit, then it just won't go any more. It hurts with any kind of contact whatsoever.

Is it serious? Could my bone been damaged? Will it get better on its on or do I have to check it out? If not, then what should I do to make it better.

If you need any more information please let me know.

Ok, I did this before, but only I jammed my thumb.

Yes, It does hurt, Let it try to heal for 1-3 days if it gets any worse or no change go to a doctor it could be broken.

I almost broke my thumb but, I let it heal for about 1 week and it healed... The bad side was that I had to pitch and I couldn't pitch 4 games...

But go to a doctor and X-ray it, My mom is a Nurse, and she does X-rays. They can tell if it's major or minor. Sometimes you think it's minor and it's major... Some times you think it's major but it's minor...

Try some Ice, and leave it on their it will numb your pinky...

If you like REALLY REALLY fill worried about it go see your doctor or any mdeical care center RIGHT away. Now I did feel pain, but not right away like 30 min after I didn't move it for a while and it hurt VERY bad when I did... When I was at school some people said it was broken, but I could move it.

P.S. This Might not helped but I would go to my doctor if I felt like I can't take the pain, You should too.

Hope the best it heals SOON!

If you can't move it through its full normal range of motion, you need to get to a doctor or hospital to get it Xrayed - it could be broken. If it is broken and you don't get it cared for by a doctor, it will not heal properly and you could permanently lose some or all of its function!

your a wimp, walk it off sissy. most serious injury what a nerd. try reconstructive knee surgery, broken collar bone, and about 70 ankle sprains to the point where im lucky to have an ankle anymore.
